About the role
We are looking for a motivated Tax Team Administrator to join our team in Bishop's Stortford. This is a Fixed Term Contract position for 9 months.
This is an opportunity for someone to support our trust accountants and legal advisers within the Wills, Trust, Tax, and Probate team by providing dedicated administrative assistance to the trust accountants.
What this role would include
- Accurately input financial data under guidance.
- Support trust accountants with admin tasks for tax and estate documents.
- Assist with compliance-related admin for tax and AML regulations.
- Handle general admin: filing, printing, letters, payments, cheques.
- Contact HMRC and banks via phone or email.
What we are looking for
While the following skills and qualifications are beneficial, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every requirement:
- Education: GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Administrative skills: Experience with filing, printing, document preparation, and general office tasks.
- Attention to detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and ensure accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Communication skills: Comfortable communicating with clients and external institutions eg. HMRC, banks via phone and email.
- Computer literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Discretion and professionalism.
