About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Associate Commercial Property Solicitor to join our dynamic team in Chelmsford. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced solicitor to take the next step in their career, working on high-quality, complex commercial property matters within a reputable and growing firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on a wide range of commercial property transactions including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and developments.
  • Managing your own caseload with minimal supervision, handling large-scale and complex transactions for a diverse client base.
  • Providing strategic advice to clients in sectors such as retail, hospitality, real estate development, and corporate.
  • Drafting and negotiating key legal documentation, including contracts, leases, and development agreements.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, offering commercial, solution-driven legal advice.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior solicitors and support staff, contributing to their professional growth and development.
  • Actively engaging in business development and marketing initiatives to grow the department's client base.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified solicitor in England and Wales with 7+ years of PQE in commercial property law.
  • A strong track record of managing complex commercial property transactions independently.
  • Excellent client care skills with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • A commercially astute and strategic thinker, capable of offering sound legal advice aligned with clients' business goals.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to business development and a keen interest in contributing to the firm’s growth.
